In light of controversial issues like arms deliveries to Ukraine, many are questioning the financial decision-making structure in Germany. Since Russia began its war against Ukraine, there has been debate about whether Germany should supply weapons to Ukraine. After a tentative attempt to provide sufficient military aid with protective helmets, deliveries have now included anti-aircraft tanks, ammunition, grenades, and other weapons. According to statements from Bundesregierung The deliveries originate from "stocks of the German Armed Forces – and those of German industry, which are financed by funds from the so-called capacity-building aid of the Federal Government".
