In times of war, pandemics, financial and environmental crises, many people question whether the government and its individual members are capable of properly governing Germany. Politicians are usually not experts in their respective fields, but their numerous advisors create the impression that they are. What does this mean for our form of government? Are a Paradigm shift and is a radical change in our political system necessary?
Some critics would go so far as to claim that we live in an "ineptocracy." By definition, this refers to a form of government in which the least competent leaders are elected by the citizens who contribute the least to society and the economy. How is this possible?
